There are plenty of chicken coops for sale, or advice on how to build one yourself.
But most standard coops will not answer the needs and requirements, when having more than one owner or location.

Having the right Co-Coop scheme and structure is important for enjoying chicken collaboration. This hands-on workshop is aimed at designing and building a Co-Coop to accommodate your space and team members specific requirements.

Advice on the most suitable scheme/ structure for your team’s location, members and chickens needs will be provided. Once the right scheme is chosen, an experienced team, with a background in architecture and engineering will help you design, make and build your bespoke Co-Coop.

The Co-Coop Building workshop runs every first Saturday of the month. No booking required.

When attending this workshop, please make sure to bring with you detailed notes/ drawings of:

• Measurements of the space/spaces intended for your chickens.
• Number of Co-Coop members, their accessibility requirements, and any other needs you wish to incorporate into the design of your Co-Coop.
• Number of chickens you intend to care for and produce.
