The Farm’s flock is kept for training purposes as part of the Educational Centre’s regular workshops.

These workshops cover general issues associated with chicken keeping, focused on the practicalities of the Co-Coop Initiative.

The free training workshops* offered are on Co-Coop Keeping, Co-Coop Building and Meat Production & Processing.

The Space per Bird: Introduction to Different Chicken Farming Systems, is an educational activity made available for teachers and other educators.

* The workshops are open to all ages, and adult supervisor is required for children under the age of 14 years.
